Hannah Spearitt and the rest of the Primeval team will battle a new monster created by a teenage fan.
Carim Nahaboo, 16, from Essex, has won the ITV1 Create Your Own Creature competition with his predator evolved from carnivorous beetles.
The winner was chosen from over 5000 entries by the show's creator Tim Haines. The creature will be brought to life for the new series
of the sci-fi show by Framestore CFC's special effects team.
Tim said: "We were overwhelmed with the amount and quality of entrants we received for the create a creature competition; everyone who
entered worked extremely hard to create original and exciting creatures.
"Hand picking the winner from the thousands of designs was a difficult but hugely enjoyable process but there was something really special
about Carim's entry that made it stand out from the rest. We think his creature is going to make episode eight of Primeval series three -
one to remember!"
Carim said: "I'm really interested in predatory insects and took inspiration from the way in which they hunt and kill, but the design is
based mainly on a preying mantis. I can't quite believe I've won. I've watched the series since the start and I'm really excited about
seeing my design on screen."
The new series of the Impossible Pictures show will air on ITV1 next year.
A picture of the winning entry and all the runners-up can be viewed on the shows newly revamped website www.itv.com/primeval.
The final single of S Club, Say Goodbye/Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You, was released 5 years ago. The band had announced earlier
that they were to split and after this single it became official. The greatest hits collection was released on 2 June.

Primeval in Asia and America
Today is a great day for Asian Primeval fans because the first season starts in BBC Entertainment!
So get ready today and every Thursday at 8pm ( Thailand ),
9pm ( Singapore, Hong Kong ), 10pm ( Malaysia, Korea ). The episodes are subtitled in Chinese, Korean and Thai.
Visit the official site with cast and episode guides
here.
And also something for our American fans:
BBC America has bought rights to two seasons of Primeval. They'll begin
possibly on August 2 2008, the network said.
BBC Worldwide America president Garth Ancier said:
"Primeval is a perfect addition to our successful Saturday night menu
of sci-fi and adventure. Torchwood and Robin Hood have done a tremendous
job at the core of our schedule, building ratings and attracting younger
viewers to BBC America. We think our audience will be excited by the
addition of this prehistoric thriller — one of the latest big hits
from the U.K."

Yes, it's really me! I've made an update again myself, after... I don't even know how many months! But now I'm back and guess what I have brought for you!
As you could already read here last week, Hannah and Andrew were at British Soap Awards 2008 and presented an award to Jamie Borthwick of EastEnders as best young actor.
Here you can watch the video.

Guess who's back to blonde?

Apparently Hannah didn't have a good time being a brunette because she's back to blonde.
I've added 5 pictures of her and Andrew at British Soap Awards. They were taken yesterday and
credits go to lovely Lorna.
