I picked up these little nice and funny comments about Hannah & Primeval on different American sources:

- What holds Primeval back from classic status? (Besides the fact that I unexplainably still don't have BBC America in HD. Damn you, Direct TV!) I wish they had spent a little more on the dinosaur effects. Of course, no one expect Primeval to look like Jurassic Park IV, but when it's too clear that the big, scaly dude and the little kid are not sharing the same physical space at all, it kind of drains the tension from the show. The directors wisely shoot a lot of dino action in darkness, where the animated nature of the creatures aren't too blatant. And it's really a minor complaint. So many things about Primeval completely work that a few off special effects shots can be forgiven. BBC America continues to rank right up there with FX, HBO, and Showtime as a network that everyone should keep an eye on. Primeval is another fascinating and original hit. ( Deadbolt )

Tomorrow the Americans can finally watch Primeval as the hit series begins at 9.00 pm on BBC America. If you miss any episode there'll be loads of replays, click here to see the showlist.

Sadly I only now found out that the show has started in Portugal aswell. Teresa told me that it airs every Saturday on RTP1. They're always changing the hours, but it's always between 3pm and 4pm. Last Saturday it was at 3:50pm and the next episode will be at 3:15pm.

I know this isn't actually related to the site but because there's not much news I'll post it anyway. Hannah's boyfriend Andrew Lee Potts is playing in a horror film called Freakdog. The movie will be released on 22 August in UK and in 2009 in USA. You can watch the trailer below if you're interested:

The Primeval team gets a new ( HOT ) member in series 3 as Captain Becker ( Ben Mansfield ) joins them. Here's what Ben told to Digital Spy: "Becker comes from a military family, went to military school, did some special operations and then got seconded to this mysterious outfit. He's a bit perplexed with Connor - he sees him as this weird, geeky guy and they have a sort of amiable friction. When he and Cutter first meet, Cutter tells him 'I'm in charge' but Becker insists 'I'm just here to look after you'. They develop a working, professional relationship. He gets on with the others fine." Isn't he gorgeous? I can't wait to see him in action :P
