It all starts with yet another rehursal for a very tired out sclub7, Hannah and Paul aren't yet together but something tells everyone they might just be falling for each other, but will they do anything about it ? or do they feel they have too much to loose.

Chapter 1 - Fed Up

Carrie - Ok guys that was great we still need to work on those harmonys, but I'm happy you all know the song.
Hannah -Yeh not bad considering these past few weeks we have bearly had a minuite to ourselves
Jo - I know it's damn exshsting.
Paul - I would kill for just one lay in
Carrie - If you feel over worked you should let Simon know
All- Yeh rightttttttt
Carrie - Well im done with you for now and you have 30 mins until Mark gets here for dance so .. take a break

Everyone thanks Carrie says bye bye, and they go off to get a drink.

Rachel - Do you think Carrie's right, maybe we should tell Simon we need a break
Jon - With the tour coming up and the album and TV to promote it won't happen
Brad- He's right Rach, he will just laugh at us
Paul - spose we have to put up with it for a while
All- Yeh

After a hard afternoons, dancing, the sclub7 made their way home to the house that they shared about 30 mins away from the rehursal halls. They Rolled into the house and into be by now it was 2am, Everyone slept soundly but only for 2 hours they were woken by the ring of the telephone, Jon goggly rolled out of bed followed by Tina, Jo and Rachel.

Jon - Humm yeh who is it
Simon - Jon it's Simon make sure your all ready in 30 mins the bus will be there to pick you up.
Jon - WHAT !!! Come on Simon we need a rest

Simon didn't listen and hung up the phone

Jon - Son of a **. Guys go get Hannah, paul and Brad up quick
Rachel - Fine but im getting Hannah Up im not going anywhere near Brad and Paul .. well he smells
Tina - Ill do the boys come on
Jo - what's going on Jon
Jon - I dunno Jo all I know is he ordered us to be ready in 30 mins for the bus to pick us up

Jo looked crosser the more Jon spoke

Jon - come on lets just pack some stuff

Jo went with Jon up the stairs,,,, meanwhile

Tina - Brad I swear to God, get up now or I won't be responsible for my next action
Brad- go away Tina
Tina - Brad we need to get up Simons orders
Brad- Ok ok ok im up

Brad lays in bed with his eyes still closed, Rachel wasn't having a lot of luck either,

Rachel -Han , are you even alive
Hannah -arhh, piss off, im tired
Rachel -We can sleep on the bus
Hannah -what bus
Rachel - Tour bus,
Hannah -Huh
Rachel - Hannah you now have 15mins GET UP
Hannah -ok ok give me a second ok

Rachel agreed and walked out of the room, 15 mins later everyone is piling into the tour bus none of them happy in the slightest.

Chapter 2 – Hugs and Tears

Once all pilled into the van still not happy everyone sits down in silence tired cross and no one wanting to talk to anyone else. Finally Jo broke the silence.

Jo - W ell imp going to bed, see you when we arrive
All- Night Jo

Everyone soon most of the sclub7 followed suit and went to bed in their small bunk beds on board the tour bus. That was all except Hannah and Paul.

Paul - You Ok Han, you don’t seem yourself lately
Hannah -Yeh it’s just I don’t know Paul, sometimes I feel all I do is work I don’t even see friends that much anymore it’s just all taking it’s toll
Paul - I know sometimes you feel it’s all for nothing, but imp sure once we have had a good rest and break things will look clearer.
Hannah -Imp sure your right
Paul – Yeh

Hannah and Paul hugged they always knew when each other weren’t feel great.

Paul - and remember imp always your friend Hannah whenever you need to talk
Hannah -I know and imp glad for that,
Paul - Shall we get to bed then before we have to get up again?
Hannah -yeh I think so … well see you tomorrow then
Paul - yeh night night

Hannah kissed Paul’s cheek and they both went to bed. During the early hours of the morning Hannah’s phone rang, she groggily picked it up

Hannah -Hello who is it?
Hannah’s Mum- Hannah it’s me please come home it’s … it’s me and your dad we are splitting up
Hannah -WHAT!!! But mum what about …
Hannah’s Mum- We have decided Hannah … please just come
Hannah -ok ok

Hannah sat in the small make shift living room with her head in her hands she cried.

Chapter 3 -An Ease Of Emotions

All The crying woke some of the other and Paul, Jon and Jo came to find out what was going on.

Paul - What happened Han ?
Hannah -It’s ….. My mum and dad have split up

Paul held Hannah in a hug

Paul - Im sorry Han
Jon - Do you need to be with them
Hannah -My mum asked yeh I think she will want me to look after Thomas but how am I going to look after a 3 year old and keep up with this work load

Hannah cried more and more

Paul - hey come on han you don’t know the full situation yet go see them find out whats going on if have to bring your little brother back we will all help you out ok?
Jo - Paul right Hannah, lets just see

Hannah Nodded calming down slightly. Hannah Packed her bag back up they were too far out now they would have to wait until they reached, the place they were staying a catch a plane from there wouldn’t take her long.she sat quietly as the bus drove resting her head on Paul’s shoulder, Paul had agreed to come with her even if Simon didn’t like it Hannah needed someone she could trust on her side, and she didn’t trust anyone right now more than Paul, she couldn’t believe how great he had been.

Hannah -Thanks for everything Paul, I know im not much fun lately
Paul - Your welcome I just wanna see the old Hannah back, I hope she wil be soon

Hannah smiled

Hannah -soon I promise

Hannah closed her eyes trying to get some well needed sleep. 3 hours later the bus stoped up at the closest airport.

Paul - Thanks Steve, we knew we could count on you
Steve- No probs just don’t tell simon I took you ok
Hannah -Ok thanks, see you soon guys
All- bye Han good luck.

Hannah and Paul made their way to the airport bought a very expensive last minuite ticket and took the short plane ride to Great Yarmouth.

Chapter 4 – Arguments

Hannah and Paul arrived at Hannah’s childhood home later that day, they arrived to find the door open, and shouting at large coming from the kitchen.

HM- I TOLD YOU ONCE ALREADY MICHEAL THOMAS STAYS WITH ME
HD – IM NOT ARGUING, YOUR NOT FIT TO HAVE HIM.

Hannah and Paul noticed little Thomas crying in the living room, Hannah ran into see him

Hannah -hey Tom
Thomas- HANNAH, mummy and daddy won’t stop shouting I don’t it I want to live with you
Hannah -hey hey it’s ok mummy and daddy are just sad right now, we will sort it out ok you stay here with Paul maybe you could show him your books
Thomas – OK
Paul – Be careful ok

Hannah nodded and went into the kitchen to speak to her still shouting parents.

Hannah -What the hell do you think you are both doing neither of you are thinking about Thomas, just yourselves.
HM- Hannah when did you arrive
Hannah -about 10 mins ago but I spent that trying to calm my baby brother down
HD – Hannah were …
Hannah -Save it .. I’ll take Tom but only for a few weeks when he comes back I want you two have worked out what is best for him not you.

With that Hannah walked out of the kitchen not to Happy, and into the living room where Paul was making a good job of distracting Tom by pretending to be a dinosaure, it bought a smile to Hannah’s face.

Hannah -Having fun Paul

Paul Jumped up

Paul - hahahah yeh he’s a good kid
Hannah -yes he is, Tom how could you like to come and stay will Hannah for a while, it’s just a holiday though you have to come back to mummy or daddy in a few weeks
Thomas- can I have chocolate
Hannah -I’ll see what I can sort out
Thomas – ok then
Hannah -good go see what clothes you want to take and ill be up to help

Thomas ran off upstairs

Hannah -they are like kids impossible
Paul - I think your doing the right thing Tom gets a break and your mum and dad can sort themselves out
Hannah -Yeh but I can’t have him forever Paul, I just hope they sort it out soon.

Just then Hannah’s mum came into the room

HM- im sorry you saw that Hannah
Hannah -me too, what the hell went wrong mum
HM- Things haven’t been good since Tom was born we grew apart Hannah

Hannah began to cry a little

Hannah -I understand that mum but why be like that to each other it breaks my heart so imgain how Tom feels
Paul – speaking of Tom I’ll go give him a hand packing
Hannah -Thanks, Paul
HM- I promise you we will sort this all out ok when you come back with Thomas.
Hannah -please make sure you do mum because I can cope with this.. Tom can’t he’s just a baby.
HM- I know and thankyou for taking him

Just then Paul arrived back holding Tom

Paul - Ok we have got 2 teddies carfully chosen from a whole room full, all clothes packed I think we are ready aren’t we Tom
Tom- Yes
HM- do you want to stay tonight
Hannah -No it’s ok we book a couple of rooms at an hotel closer to the airport we need to be back early tomorrow
HM- Ok then, Tom come and give mummy a kiss
Tom- I love you mummy
HM - I love you too be good for your sister ok
Tom- ok, bye, bye
Hannah -Bye mum take care

Hannah hugged her mum

Hannah -love you mum
HM – love you too take care
Hannah -you too, see ya
Paul - Bye Jenny
HM- bye Paul, thanks for coming

Hannah and Paul then left with little Tom for the hotel.

Chapter 5 – Late Night Chats

They make their way to the hotel, to check in

Paul - Hello we have 2 rooms book under Hannah Spearitt and Paul Cattermole.
Receptionst – Ok lets me see

She types into a computer, for sometime

Receptionist – ermm it seems like we double booked you only one room is now free
Hannah -ohh no and there is nothing else ?
Receptionist – Im afraid not, would you like to take the room ?
Paul - what do you think
Hannah -I think we can survive one right in the same room Paul
Paul - ok yeh we wil take it
Recptionist – ok we will arrange a small bed for the little boy, you can settle the bill when you leave
Hannah – Ok thanks

They get the room key and make their way to the room, as they entred thanfully it was a good size but all they had was a doule bed it looked like Hannah and Paul were going to have to share (yes Cath share :-P) Toms bed little bed was set up and he was soon asleep.

Paul - Are you ok ? I mean about your mum and dad, I know it can be hard
Hannah -im fine, it just couldn’t have come at a worse time, I just feel .. I feel like giving it all up and going to live somewhere far from here
Paul - ohh no don’t do that I’d miss you
Hannah -hahha I’d miss you too I wouldn’t really do it I just feel like it sometimes
Paul - we all feel like escaping from it all especially in the job we do, it’s about how we work through it
Hannah – Yeh I spose your right, thanks for coming with me Paul, I don’t know if I could have coped on my own
Paul - your welcome you know I’m always here when you need me,

Paul leaned into to kiss Hannah, she leaned into but they never quite made the kiss.

Paul - im sorry I shouldn’t have tried to ….
Hannah – It’s ok I think we should get some sleep we have an early start
Paul - yeh night night see you tomorrow

With that they both turned onto their sides away from each other but neither of them slept.

Chapter 6 - World Turned Upside Down

Meanwhile while Hannah and Paul are spending the night in the hotel, Hannah’s Mum and Dad are making their way to Hannah to collect Tom back as Hannah’s dad had gone mad when he had found out Hannah’s mum had allowed him to go with Hannah.

HD- I can’t believe you let our 3 year old son with our 24 year old daughter what makes her capable of looking after him Jenny
HM- She’s he’s Sister Mike she loves him and she felt we need some time
HD- Well if you don’t want him I’LL HAVE HIM
HM- I didn’t say that Mike, God you so …….. Mike watch out, the car
HD+HM –AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

BANG!!! The car crashes off the high way

Hannah was woken by the ring of her mobile

Hannah -Hello
Police Officer – Hello Miss Spearritt ?
Hannah – Yes speaking
Police Officer – Hello I was wondering if you could come down to ‘Little Bridge Police Station’
Hannah -Why ? What’s happened ?
Police Officer – It’s about your parents please just come
Hannah -ok Ill come right away

Hannah hung up

Paul – What’s happening
Hannah -I think my parent’s got arrested
Paul – WHAT !!
Hannah – yeh I need to go to the police station close to my house
Paul - Ok lets go
Hannah -you can stay here it’s ok
Paul - No I’ll come I haven’t left you alone yet
Hannah -ok

Paul bundled up Thomas in his arms and carried him to the car followed by Hannah. After a short drive they arrived. And everyone went inside sure that they were going to find Hannah’s parents locked up. As they went in they were approached by a female officer,

Officer – can I help
Hannah -yes I’m Hannah Spearritt, I was called in about my parents
Officer- Ohh yes yes, come this way

Hannah and Paul were led to a room an were sat down

Hannah -where are they I can bail them its fine
Paul - yeh we have the money
Officer- I'm afraid that won’t be possible, you parents died in a car crash earlier tonight they died in impact
Hannah -NOOOOOOO this can’t be happening, your wrong they aren’t dead they can’t be they aren’t even talking why would they be together
Officer- I’m afraid it is them

Hannah put her hands in her head and cried and cried Paul put a protective arm around Hannah as he tried to comfort her,

Officer – I’ll leave you

She then left

Paul - I’m so sorry Hannah
Tom- where’s mummy and daddy
Paul - ermm …. Sok Tom

Hannah is in tears

Hannah -They are in heaven with the angels Tom, I’m so sorry little boy Hannah will look after you I promise
Tom- can I go see the angels too so I can see mummy and daddy
Paul - no mate sorry you can’t we have to let them look after mummy and daddy now
Tom- ok

Tom began to cry too finally realising he wouldn’t see his mummy and daddy again,

Paul – come on lets get you back to the hotel

Hannah nodded and they made their way to the hotel again. Once back Tom goes straight to bed after crying himself to sleep in the car Hannah on the other hand is wide awake and still upset

Hannah -the last thing I said to them was horrible Paul they died hating me
Paul - Hannah they could never ever hate you never, they were your parents, nothing can replace them, I’m just so sorry you have to know Hannah your never alone I’m always here for you always
Hannah – Promise me Paul
Paul – I promise you, let’s get some sleep we need to be up in 3 hours,

Hannah fell into a restfless sleep in Paul’s arms sobbing.

Chapter 7 – Living The Hard Life

The morning finally came and Hannah and Paul got up Paul started to pack for the flight back, Hannah was in the shower and Little Tom sat on his bed drawing a picture.

Paul - you ok Tom ? what ya doing
Tom- I’m drawing a picture, it’s for the angels, I’m going to ask them to give mummy and daddy back, I’ll give them my picture instead.

Paul stop packing and went to sit next to Tom

Paul - Tom mummy and daddy can’t come back now, they are in heaven you can’t come back once your in heaven
Tom- but it’s not fair they didn’t tell us before going I wanted to go, with them
Paul - they were very poorly Tom and when people are very very very poorly the angels come for them to take them to heaven and make them better,
Tom- I won’t have a mummy and daddy
Paul - Tom Hannah and me will always be there for you ok we will look after you I promise, I tell you what go get some clothes on then we will get you some breakfast.
Tom- ok then

With that tom went to his bag looking for some clothes when Hannah came out of the bath room, her eyes were red and puffy from crying.

Paul - how do you feel ?
Hannah -I’m ok I think, well as well as I can be, Tom ok?
Paul – Well I still don’t think he full understands, he was drawing a picture for the angels so they would bring mummy and daddy back, but we have a chat and I think he understands a little better now.
Hannah -thanks for everything Paul I really don’t know what I would have done without u lately
Paul - anytime Hannah and I really mean that ill be there all the way to help you especially with Tom.
Tom- Hannah, Hannah, I drew a picture for you, so you stop crying.
Hannah – ohh Tom thank you honey, Listen Hannah promise things will be ok, im going to look after you
Tom- I miss mummy and daddy Hannah

Hannah Hugs Tom

Hannah – Me too baby, me too, how would you like to see Uncle Bradley Uncle Jon and Aunty Rachel, Tina and Jo
Tom- Yehhh, can I watch you sing
Hannah -of course
Paul - Let’s get going then before we miss the aeroplane.

Hannah, Paul and Tom then went down stairs to have some breakfast and head off to the airport. After a short plane ride they were back in London, Thye jumped in a taxi to go home. Tom was asleep in Paul’s arms

Hannah -He really likes you Paul
Paul - I like him too he;s a good kid, he’s going to be just like you when he;s older
Hannah -I hoep not im a girl Paul
Paul – ha ha you know what I mean
Hannah -yeh I know, maybe he will be the next Justin Timberlake
Paul - Or Will Young
Hannah – OMG
Paul – what ??
Hannah -the funerals Paul what about the funerals
Paul - it’s ok I spoke to the police it’s going to be at least a week before they will realise the bodies, then you can start sorting it out

Hannah began to cry

Hannah – I shouldn’t have to be doing this yet, they weren’t spose to die yet, I’m not ready

Paul put an arm around Hannah

Paul - everything is going to be ok, your not alone never ok

Hannah nodded as the taxi pulled up into the drive of the house the sclubbers shared. Hannah wiped her tears and they all went into the house Tom was now awake nd very exicted he loved visiting this house it was so big he could just run and run. Rachel answered the door

Rachel - heyyy, ohh hello Tom I see your visiting us how are you
Tom- ok, thank you

Tom ran past Rachel inside the hosue

Rachel - you ok Han ? you look …

Rachel didn’t finish before Hannah burst into tears into Rachel’s arms.

Rachel - what happened Hannah,
Paul - ermm lets go in yeh

They all went inside Paul got Hannah a glass of water, Brad took Tom outside to play while the others tried to find out what was upsetting Hannah so much.

Hannah -My … my parents both died in a car accident yesterday
Jo - omg Hannah… I don’t know what to say.. im sorry
Tina - I'm so sorry Hannah

Rachel and Jon just gave Hannah a hug saying sorry, Paul just sat there hurt.. hurt that he couldn’t take Hannah’s pain away hurt he couldn’t tell her how he really felt.

Chapter 8 – Moving

3 weeks later and the funerals are over, Hannah and Tom were getting used to life without their parents, and getting used to being with each other 24 hours a days. Hannah had decided it was best if her and Tom found a flat of their own, it didn’t feel right to put the others through having a small unstable child around, so she found a fair sized flat just a short walk from the group house. So today she would move out.

Paul - so if everything packed up then
Hannah -yeh I think so I didn’t realise how much stuff I had this house will be empty now hahahah
Paul - it won’t be the same without you, im really going to miss you han,
Hannah -ohh Paul I’ll miss you too but you know ur always be welcome at ours and it’s just a 5 mins walk down the road
Paul - yeh I know, but it’s not the same, anyway let’s go find tom and get u settled.

Hannah and Paul carried all the bags downstairs, where brad, Jo and Tom were having a race around the couch.

Hannah -Tom get your coat now it’s time to see your new room
Tom- I don’t want to go
Hannah -I know but we will see lots of these guys ok and it’s just a little while down the road, we can come as often as you like ok?
Tom- alright then

Tom got his coat and Hannah Paul and Tom make their way to the car and 5 mins later they are at their new flat.

Hannah -well here we are
Paul - yep, lets get inside and find ur room Tom
Tom- I want teddy in their
Hannah – I think you might find teddy made his own way

Tom jumped out of the car running up to the door waiting for Hannah, once inside the flat Tom quickly found teddy and his lovely new room Hannah, with a little help from Paul had been working on for about 4 days now.

Tom- wow it’s beautiful Hannah
Hannah -im glad you like it would you like some juice while you settle in?
Tom- yes please

Tom had a good look around his room while Hannah and Paul went into the kitchen to make a drink.

Paul - so your all settled I’ll get back
Hannah -no Paul please stay for a drink at least
Paul - ok then
Hannah -im not sure how im going to cope being a full time mum and pop star
Paul - Im sure your be just fine Han, I cant pretend I know how ur feeling at the moment but I do know ur a great sister and that little boy loves you to pieces.
Hannah -well I hope I can make him some kind of decent human being,
Paul - if he’s anything like you he will turn out just fine
Hannah – ohh Paul hahah
Paul –I mean it Hannah

Paul leaned in to kiss Hannah and she leaned into this time it happen their first kiss, at first it was a soft kiss but gradually Paul slipped his tongue into Hannah’s mouth and she gladly accept the kiss, They were interrupted by Tom

Tom- ewww your kissing, Paul Girls smell, can I have my juice please

Hannah and Paul laughed

Hannah – of course you can baby here

Hannah handed Tom the juice and he walked off the watch some TV.

Hannah -well… we kissed then
Paul – ERMM yeh I think we did
Hannah – I was kind of over due wasn’t it?
Paul – I suppose so
Hannah -I don’t want a heavy relationship right now Paul not with everything

Paul looked kind of disappointed

Hannah -hey that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it or want it, it’s just I don’t know Paul my life is so messed up right now
Paul – Let me be part of it Hannah I can help you I want to help you.

Hannah Nodded

Hannah -I really want that Paul
Paul - Good then

They kissed again.

Chapter 9 – Getting closer

Paul – well I really should go, I need an early night for tomorrow
Hannah -Yeh me too and, I need to prepare Tom for bed too
Paul - well see you tomorrow then

Hannah smiled yeh

Paul - Night night
Hannah -Night

Paul and Hannah both leaned in for a 3rd kiss that night, once they broke away. Paul left leaving Hannah with a smile in her face for the first time in over a month.

Hannah -TOMM !!! Come on bath time
Tom- I don’t smell I don’t want a bath
Hannah -Listen, we wash so we don’t smell Tom, not only when we do now go and pick out some PJ’S and ill run u a bubble bath.

Tom come back to Hannah with a pair of ‘Thomas the tank’ PJ’S

Tom- mummy bought me these because Thomas the tank has the same name as me
Hannah -yes he does, and these are very special PJ’S

Hannah kiss Toms head and helped him into the bath,

Tom- are you and Paul getting married
Hannah -no sweetie of course not
Tom- why did Paul kiss you then
Hannah -because we like each other
Tom- can Paul live here
Hannah -not right now tom right now it’s just you and me
Tom- ok then

Once bath and dressed for bed Tom was soon asleep, and Hannah was left alone just her tub of Ben and jerry’s and the TV, she missed the guys especially Paul. She sat down to watch a film, but got 5 mins into and got bored so she decided to phone Paul.

Paul - Hello
Hannah -hey it’s me

Paul was very happy to hear Hannah’s voice

Paul - hey I was just thinking about you
Hannah – I was thinking about you too that’s why I phoned

Paul laughed a little

Paul - what are you up to ?
Hannah – nothing much watch a movie, eating ice cream the usual really, I miss you guys especially you
Paul – I miss you too Han, and the others, how’s Tom ? Hannah -fine although he thought we might be getting married Paul - what ?? Ohh because of the kiss
Hannah -yeh he wanted to know when you were moving in Paul - about the kiss Hannah, im sorry …..
Hannah -its ok Paul im the one who should be sorry, I had a along thought since then and I realised just how much I have wanted that kiss. Paul -Me too Hannah, I understand you don’t want to rush into things life hasn’t exactly been good for you, but I would like to be more than just a fiend to you
Hannah -I would like that too Paul, I really would, we can talk more about this tomorrow I person and maybe I might get another kiss ?
Paul – only if you good
Hannah – ok ok ill try my best, I better go to sleep now and you too
Paul - ok then see you tomorrow, take care
Hannah – you too bye bye.

Hannah came off the phone happy, she was sure that the bad things going on in her life were at least going to be eased a little now she had Paul to share the load with.

Chapter 10 – Sweetness

The next morning Sclub7 had a meeting and without the noise of the others Hannah and Tom were still sounds asleep, until Hannah got a call

Hannah -humm hello
Jo - Hannah its 9am we have a meeting in 20 mins
Hannah -shittttttt, Ok thanks Jo ill be there as soon as
Jo - No problem I’ll see you soon ok

Hannah hung up the phone, and rushed out of red into Tom’s room

Hannah -Tom come one sweetie time to get up, let’s go see Paul and the others
Tom- but it’s not still the morning
Hannah -yes Tom it’s morning come on

Hannah dragged Tom out of bed putting some clothes on him, then getting some clothes on herself she raced to the kitchen poured Tom some juice, and had him strapped into the car all in the space of 20 mins, she was pretty proud of herself, she got into the car and drove off to meet the others

Tom- why are we rushing a lot?
Hannah -because Tom in true Spearritt style we slept in, and now we are very late.

Hannah pulled up outside the house, and rushed inside.

Tina - Not bad not bad at all I think you broke your record Hannah
Hannah -ha ha Tina and look I still have 5 mins to have a sit down and wake up full

Just then Paul, Jon and Rachel came down the stairs

Hannah -morning guys

Rachel, Jon and Paul – Morning Han,

Paul - how was your first sleep in your new flat
Hannah -it was good shame I was woken
Paul - yeh, it was a bummer
Jon - well considering you two were on the phone half the night im not surprised

Hannah and Paul looked at each other worried, worried Jon had found out what happened yesterday.

Jon – ha ha well I didn’t I went to the toilet and I heard you saying goodnight to each other, and considering that was 1am, id say that was half the night
Hannah -yeh well I was feeling sclub7 sick
Rachel - what the hell is that hahaha
Hannah – I was just missing the company of you guys, when Tom went to bed it was pretty lonely
Jo - awww well you can always move back
Hannah -nahh I think Tom likes his new room now and it’s not fair on you guys

Rachel - cars are here
Paul - is brad up?
Jo - ohh god you guys! u can’t control him

Jo stood at the bottom of the stairs

Jo - BRAD WE ARE GOING GET YOU FAT ASS DOWN HERE NOWWWWWWW!!!!! Or you will be cooking your own food for a week

Brad raced down the stairs dressed but not well and everyone left to get into the car.

Once at ‘GMTV’ everyone pilled out of the cars a small group of fans were waiting for autographs which the sclub gladly did, Tom looked totally confused

Tom- Hannah why do they want your drawings
Hannah – Because we are special ahahah
Tom- I’m special you said
Hannah – That’s right you are, you can do some drawing inside ok?

Tom seemed happy and they all went inside, Some of the sclubbers would have to do a game show type thing on the show, so Brad, Jo were picked for that, Jon, Rachel and Tina went to get a drink for everyone, and with Tom happy in the play room Hannah and Paul had their first proper talk since the incident yesterday.

Paul - So …
Hannah -yeh…
Hannah and Paul – I just wanted …
Hannah – You first hahah
Paul - I just wanted you to know phone me whenever you want,
Hannah -I was just wondering when I was going to get another kiss
Paul – well you could have one…

Hannah cut Paul off by planting a kiss on Paul’s lips, they were just enjoying themselves when ….

Tina – OMG …

Tina dropped her drink

Rachel – err GUYS
Jon - guess this means your finally together then

Hannah and Paul suddenly stopped looking at their friends,

Hannah -ermm you weren’t suppose to see that
Jon - I figured that
Rachel – so ??? what’s going on
Tina - OMG
Paul – I think you said that Teen hahaha
Hannah – and in answer to your questions, yes I spouses we are together
Paul – we are taking it slow,
Jon - guys that’s great guys really I'm happy for you
Tina – yeh congratulation guys, sorry I acted so shocked
Rachel - well It is about time, I’m surprised it didn’t happen soon
Hannah -well we are glad you’re happy, I hope Tom is too
Jon - O he will be he loves Paul
Paul - well I’m quiet a loveable person
Rachel - ohh wait till I tell Jo she’s going to be over the moon

Just on track Jo and Brad were back.

Jo - well duh it’s not unusually for Hannah and Paul to be sitting together

Rachel - yeh, we caught them with their tongues down each other throats
Hannah – well that was nicely put Rach

Jo ran to Hannah and Paul hugging them

Jo - congratulations guys, about time
Hannah -why does everyone keep saying that ?
Brad- well it was a bit overdue wasn’t it I mean sexual tension and all that
Paul – It was ?

All except Hannah and Paul – YESS!!!

Hannah and Paul Laughed

Hannah -well we didn’t see it
Paul - well I suppose others see things better than you

Everyone laughed and got ready for their interview.

Chapter 11 – Together and Tears

With everyone in the band now knowing about their blossoming relationship Hannah and Paul were starting to feel far more relaxed about it all and Hannah for the first time in over a month finally felt like she had a life a life that didn’t just involve her feeling terrible about her parents dying and having to care for her younger brother. Hannah Paul and Tom were at Hannah’s flat for dinner they were going to tell Tom tonight about them getting together they wanted him to understand why they would be spending lots of time together. They also had a surprise for Tom. Tom was helping Paul to make the Spaghetti bolognase.

Tom- we need more ‘matos
Paul – What’s ‘matos Tom
Tom –you know ’matos Paul

Paul looked totally confused,

Paul – Han what are ‘matos
Hannah – huh
Paul – Tom asked for more of them
Hannah – ohhhh that what he called tomatoes, he hasn’t quiet mastered the full word yet
Paul – ohhh I get it hahahaa
Hannah – how’s it all going boys it smells good
Tom- it’s nearly done we did everything now, we put the meaty stuff with the ‘matos and now we need the ‘scetti worms

Hannah whisper in Paul’s ear

Hannah – ‘scetti worms is Spaghetti
Paul – ohh yeh I know that, tom explain that one too me

Hannah smiled she was so pleased they were getting on so well

Hannah – well it seems to me you have everything sorted ill go and set the table shall I?

Hannah left the boys to it, to go and get the table ready, 10 minutes later everything was done and the 3 of them were just sitting down to eat.

Hannah -well I must say boys you would make great chefs

Tom – im going to cook dinners when I’m bigger
Paul – sounds like a good plan to me, a boy after my own heart or should I say tummy

Paul tickled Tom’s tummy

Hannah – Tom you know how Paul and Hannah are very good friends
Tom- yes, that’s why Paul helped me to cook the dinner,
Paul – that’s right, and me and Hannah were thinking if it’s ok with you
Hannah – Paul could spend a bit more time here with me and you
Paul – would you like that?
Tom – YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, because me and Paul are friends now
Hannah – that’s right
Tom – will you and Paul kiss again Hannah?
Hannah – Maybe is that ok?
Tom – yes I think so, as long as Paul is more my friend than yours
Paul – I think that’s ok isn’t it Hannah
Hannah – certainly, Paul can be your best friend ok.
Tom- ok then will Paul live here
Paul - not yet mate, but I might sleep here sometimes ok?
Tom- ok then,

Tom was pretty happy and went back to eating him spaghetti Hannah and Paul looked at each other smiling.

Hannah – Tom I have another surprise for you, tomorrow I’m going to take
You to nursery so you can play with some other children ok?

Tom looked worried

Tom- but I want to stay with you and Paul
Paul – You go to nursery for a little while and then Hannah and me will come and pick you up after your tea
Tom- what if Hannah goes to the angels while im there like mummy and daddy did

Hannah got up from her seat and knelt down beside Tom

Hannah – Tom I promise that that will never happen ok? I promise you I will always be there when I say, and I promise I will never leave you, but you have to go to nursery for a while baby, Hannah has to work, and you need to play with some other children like you,

Paul – I tell you what why don’t all 3 of us go around tomorrow and me and Hannah will stay with you for a little while so you get used to play ok ?
Tom – ok then, can I wear my Bob the builder trainers
Hannah – sure you can,
Paul – ok so now that’s all sorted who would like some chocolate cake
Hannah – ohh yes please
Tom – YEhhhhh

Paul cleared the plates and got the ice cream while Hannah gave Tom and hug reassuring him again everything would be fine.

Later that night Tom was in bed and Hannah and Paul were on the sofa watching ‘East Enders’ Paul couldn’t help but just look at Hannah he couldn’t believe how happy he could be all because off Hannah.

Hannah – what ya looking at hahah
Paul - You!!
Hannah – can’t be nice for your eyes

Paul put his hand on Hannah’s face turning her head and eyes away from the TV, and looked right into Hannah’s eyes

Paul - your beautiful Hannah, I’m so happy

Hannah smiled

Hannah – me too Paul you really have made me the happiest women in the world and considering the month I’ve had that really is an achievement even for you Mr Cattermole
Paul – Well I aim to please

Hannah laughed as Paul kissed her on the lips and they collapsed into a passionate kiss on the couch, after 10 mins of pretty heavy kissing, they stop,

Hannah -do you want to ….
Paul - only if you want …
Hannah -ohh yes yes

Hannah jumped up grabbing Paul’s hand and lead him to the bedroom.

The next morning, Tom woke Hannah and Paul up by running into Hannah’s bedroom,

Tom- Hannah, Hannah, can I have some cherries please

Hannah rolled over in bed groggily

Hannah – sure sweetie go get your dressing gown on and ill be with you ok

Tom did as he was told and ran off to his room. Hannah turned to Paul who was half asleep half awake.

Hannah – Good morning
Paul – Good morning Beautiful

Paul kissed Hannah on the lips

Hannah – thanks for a great night last night
Paul - I should be saying the same to you

They kissed again for a while
Hannah -as nice as this is, Tom wants his breakfast and we have to take him to the nursery,
Paul –I tell you what considering I know how long you will be in the bathroom, go get a shower and ill get Tom his breakfast
Hannah – Ok thanks
Paul – your welcome

They kissed again and Hannah got up and headed for the bathroom, when she was done she joined the boys in the kitchen, Tom was dressed with his ‘Bob the builder’ trainers

Tom- It’s ok Paul made my cherries
Hannah – see I told you he was your best friend he didn’t make me my breakfast
Paul – ohh yes I did, scrambled eggs on toast
Hannah -aww thanks very

Paul kissed her head

Paul – your very welcome
Tom – I said thank you and you didn’t kiss my head

Paul went up to Tom and kissed his head just as he had done with Hannah

Paul – Ok now?

Tom nodded happily

Hannah – remember we are going to nursery today
Tom- yes I remember
Paul – you going to go find your coat

Tom jumped up from the table to get this coat, 20 minutes later everyone is ready and on their way to Tom’s new nursery Tom was very quiet indeed

Hannah – you ok Tom
Tom- yes I’m just scared a little
Paul – of course you are it’s ok to be scared mate, here we are now lets all go in together and see what’s to play with.

Tom held Paul and Hannah’s hand as they went inside, they were greeted by the staff, and Tom was allowed to play.

Staff member – Tom Mummy and daddy will sit just here ok?
Tom- Hannah isn’t my mummy she’s my big sister and Paul is my friend not my daddy, my mummy and daddy are with the angels
Staff member – ok then well Hannah and Paul will sit here ok
Tom nodded and went off to play keeping a close eye on Hannah and Paul
Hannah spoke to the nursery nurse.

Hannah – our parents died nearly 2 months ago now, I’m looking after tom
Staff member – im so sorry, how has Tom coped, pretty well considering, he’s a little nervous about staying here, but im sure it will pass, he loves other children and all toys, he’s really well natured.
Staff Member – well we will look after him well I promise

Hannah smiled as she watched Tom play, 40 mins later it was time for Hannah and Paul to leave.

Hannah – Tom, Hannah and Paul have to go to work now, but we will be back at tea time to pick you up Tom – I don’t want you to go though
Paul – it’s just a little while Tom ok we promise we will come back really soon.
Tom- nooooooooo I don’t want you to go

Tom clung tight to Hannah as tears ran down his cheek,

Staff member – this is very usual for a Childs first day, let me take him for you and he can have a cuddle for a while we will give you a ring if he doesn’t calm down.

Hannah was worried but she knew it was best for tom to make some friends, and learn that he can’t be with her all the time, so the staff member took Tom, as he kicked and cried for Hannah

Tom- I don’t want you to go, Hannnnnnahhhhh

Hannah kissed Tom goodbye and her and Paul left with him still crying, once outside Hannah too was in tears

Hannah -I should have left him

Paul hugged Hannah

Paul – he will be just fine, urn see we will go back and he won’t want to leave

Hannah nodded and buried her head into Paul chest

Chapter 12- Going Down Hill

Hannah and Paul soon joined the others, now Hannah was feeling a little better after Paul’s talk.

Rachel - Hey guys how’s things
Hannah -we just dropped Tom off at his new nursery he hates it
Paul - he just needs to get used to it, it’s like starting a new job
Jo - Yeh Paul’s right Hannah, he will settle down
Paul - yep and if he doesn’t they will phone you

Hannah nodded still a little tear; Paul gave her a little hug.

Brad- What’s the plan for today

Jon read Brad a list from a sheet of paper

Jon - recording for the morning a spot of lunch on ‘Loose Women’ then later today humm ’Richard and Judy’
Tina - ohh not too bad today,
Jon - yep we finish at 5.30, so Han you can be back here for 6 for Tom
Hannah -Yeh that’s good

So the sclubbers made their way to start their day everything was going well, Hannah had began to relax when she got a phone call

Hannah -Hello
Staff Member- hello Miss Spearritt this is sunshine nursery
Hannah -is something wrong
Staff Member – im afraid Tom is still very upset I might be best if you pick him up
Hannah -ok I’ll be right their
Staff Member – Ok thanks

Hannah hung up and began to cry

Paul -what the matter Han
Hannah -I need to pick Tom up he’s still up
Paul – ok lets go now come on I’ll drive you
Hannah -we have to be on stage soon
Paul - if we hurry we can make it back

Paul took Hannah’s hand and led her to the car, after a shot drive they arrived, and went in to see what kind of sate Tom was in, Hannah was heart broken she felt so guilty for even thinking of leaving him so soon after their parents had died, Tom was so worked up from crying he had been sick,

Hannah -hey Tommy
Tom- Hannah, I thought you were with the angels

He continued to cry as Hannah held him tight to her Paul gave Hannah’s back a reassuring rub.

Hannah -Oh Tom I promised you baby
Tom- you were gone for long time

He sobbed and sobbed

Paul – it’s ok now tom no more tears hey Hannah’s here for you

Tom nodded and cuddled into Hannah as she stood up holding him

Paul - I’ll get his coat and things
Hannah – thanks
Staff Member – im sorry he was just so upset and asking for you both
Hannah -it’s ok I just think it was too soon for him maybe we can try again in a few months
Staff member –that’s a good idea maybe we will see you again some time
Paul – yeh thanks a lot

With that Hannah and Paul left

Paul – you ok?
Hannah – yeh im fine sorry I got into a state
Paul - it’s ok Han he’s your baby brother and he was very upset I think you right he can just be a little groupie for a few months he needs to know your not going to go away like your parents
Hannah -yeh,
Paul - don’t worry ok we will sort it all out even if we have to find a nanny
Hannah -thank you Paul
Paul - why?
Hannah -for being their

Paul kissed Hannah

Paul - I love tom as much as you Hannah I don’t want to see him upset in fact we wont see him upset

Hannah kissed Paul on the lips, and they made their way to meet the others,

The rest of the day went ok, with the sclub finishing their interviews Hannah took Tom home, as he was still pretty on edge Paul decided it was best he didn’t stay over and let him and Hannah spend some time together, so Paul dropped them off and said he’s goodbyes tell Hannah to call him if she, needed him.

But things went from bad to worse for Hannah, that night

Hannah -Tom please you have to eat some dinner just a little bit
Tom – I don’t want it

Tom cried
Hannah -ok ok at least have a drink

Tom picked up his juice sipping it gently

Hannah – come to Hannah tom

Tom jumped down from his seat and over to Hannah

Hannah -what’s the matter tom you won’t talk you won’t eat what can I do to make you feel better
Tom- I want mummy and daddy now the angels have had them enough
Hannah -ohh Tom Hannah misses mummy and daddy too very very much, but they were very poorly Tom
Tom- it’s not fair
Hannah -I know, Tom I know, please eat some dinner now?
Tom- no thank you
Hannah – ok go get your PJ’s then

Tom went off the change into his PJ’s but he wasn’t about to make bed time easy for Hannah, he was hysterical

Tom- I don’t want to go to sleep, don’t leave me
Hannah -Tom calm down now shush it’s ok

Hannah gently pushed his blonde hair from his face, but even when Hannah sat with him he still cried and cried and cried, Hannah didn’t know what to do, she decided to phone Paul, picking up a screaming Tom she made her way to the living room where she phoned Paul’s number, he picked up right away know Hannah’s number

Paul – Hannah?
Hannah -hey Paul im sorry I think I need your help
Paul - is that tom?
Hannah -yeh he’s really bad Paul I can’t stop him
Paul - ok ill be there in 5 mins sit tight ok
Hannah -ok thanks see you soon

Hannah hung up and tried again to calm Tom, Paul soon arrived to a worried Hannah, she saw Paul and promptly burst into tears too, Paul hugged her tight Tom too

Paul – come on give him to me you have a sit down

Paul took Tom sitting down with him

Paul – what’s the matter tom why the tears?
Tom – I WANT MUMMY AND DADDY
Paul - Paul hugged Tom rocking him backwards and forwards

Eventually after another 30 minutes of crying Tom cried himself to sleep, Paul carefully put him to bed and went to see Hannah, who was still pretty upset herself

Paul - how are you feeling?
Hannah -how am I ever going to cope with this Paul I thought it was too good to be true
Paul – he misses them Hannah you did your grieving when they died he didn’t, we will take him to the doctors tomorrow and get him checked out, he just needs some time

Hannah nodded; Paul gave her a reassuring cuddle

Hannah -im sorry I called you out like that
Paul – Hannah please don’t be sorry the main thing is you and Tom are ok
Hannah -I want you here all the time with us I can’t do it on my own Paul
Paul – ok, I’ll move in if it makes you fee better ok?
Hannah -yeh
Paul – come you need to sleep as well
Hannah -I can’t sleep
Paul – come on you need to at least have a rest

Paul helped Hannah to the bed room she laid on the bed while Paul played with her head and stroked her head within 10 mins she was sound asleep, Paul kissed her head and went to sleep himself.

Chapter 13 – Doctors

They all slept well, when the morning came, Paul sat up in bed stretching, he kissed a sleeping Hannah’s cheek and, got out of bed making his way to the kitchen. When Paul got to the kitchen he found Tom just sitting at the kitchen table staring

Paul - hey Tom how did you sleep feeling better?

Tom shook his head

Tom- I wet my bed and my pants
Paul - ohh mate that’s ok, come on lets go change your clothes and bed.

Paul took Tom’s hand and they went to his room,

Paul - I tell you what pick some warm clothes and Paul will run you a bath ok

Tom ran over to Paul

Tom – I love you
Paul - I love you too sweetie
Tom- don’t go then
Paul - im not going anywhere tom just to the bath room
Tom- I don’t want you too
Paul - come and help me then

So Paul and Tom ran the bath together and Paul helped him to choose some clothes, and they changed his bed Tom seemed far more relaxed and chatty, and was now having fun in his bath.

Paul - what colour towel would you like to dry with?
Tom- a blue one please
Paul - ok then
Tom- do I need to go to nursery today
Paul - no, tom you can stay with Hannah and me ok?

Paul helped Tom out of the bath wrapping the towel around him, and then they went and got dressed, once Paul was happy Tom was calm, he suggested they have some breakfast
Tom- can I have eggs today please
Paul - of course you know I make the best scrambled eggs
Tom- with some brown toast
Paul - sure, lets go my tummy is rumbling
Tom – mine too

Tom proudly patted his tummy, and they made their way to the kitchen, he ate all the food pretty quick still hungry from eating nothing last night, Paul put the TV on in the joining living room and tom happily watched ‘Tweenies’ happy he could still see Paul clearly, after doing the washing up, Paul thought it was about time Hannah was up they had rehearsal later in the morning.

Paul - Tom wait right wait there im going to call Hannah, and ill come right back.

Paul left and tom got upset again, running after Paul

Tom- Paulll, wait don’t leave me

Paul turned and picked Tom up

Paul - ok ok, don’t cry come on lets both wake her up, you can tickle yeh?

Tom laughed as they both went into the bed room, Tom jumped on Hannah. And Paul sat beside her.

Hannah -ohh someone is feeling happier this morning

Hannah kissed tom on the head, and Paul on the lips

Paul - yep we have had a bath and we had our breakfast didn’t we Tom
Tom- I had Paul’s eggs with brown toast
Hannah -ohh what a big boy
Tom looked sad and put his head down

Tom- I wet my pants and bed

Hannah -never mind, it happens tom,
Tom- Paul helped me to have a bath
Hannah -well it sounds like you too really have had fun this morning
Paul - we sure have, we came to get you up so we can see the doctor before the rehearsals
Hannah -ok, well you too boys go and make me some nice breakfast an ill get ready

Paul kissed Hannah, and he and tom went off to get Hannah some breakfast. After getting ready Hannah, Paul and Tom walked to the doctors nearby tom ran on ahead making sure Hannah and Paul were in eye shot

Hannah -sorry you had to deal with all that this morning you should have woken me Paul - its ok Han, in fact it was really nice to spend some time with him,
Hannah -well at least you got him to eat, Paul - he was upset last night Han he is just terrified he is going to be left alone, and besides he was starving I think he would have eaten upset or not
Hannah -well let’s see what the doctor has to say

Hannah, Paul and Tom arrived at the doctors and sat down and waited to be seen Tom happily played with the toys.

Hannah and Paul just chatted.

Receptionist – Thomas Spearritt
Tom- Hey that’s me

Hannah and Paul laughed

Hannah -that’s right the doctors ready to see you now

Tom held Hannah and Paul hands and walked with them down a long corridor to the doctor’s room. As they went in Hannah and Paul sat down, Tom stood by them

Doctor- hello what can I do for you today
Hannah -well... it’s about Tom here, we are a little worried
Doctor- I have some toys over there Tom would you like to have a look?
Tom- yes please
Tom ran off to find the box of toys.

Hannah -well you see 2 months ago our parents died in a car accident, I thought Tom was coping pretty well, he’s living with me now, but yesterday I took him to nursery for the first time since it happened and ever since he won’t let me or Paul out of his site. And last night he wet the bed he hasn’t done that for over a year now.
Doctor- this is not unusual at all, im not too worried, maybe he would benefit from talking to someone, like a child physiologist, its to be expect he is scared, he thinks you both will go like his parents, the best think you can do is, reassure him as much as you can, and gradually leave him for short periods to get used to being alone again, ill give you some numbers to ring and, we can see if that helps.
Hannah -so we shouldn’t be worried
Doctor- I don’t think so, he’s talking, he seems happy, he’s just a little insecure
Paul - will he get over that?
Doctor- Ohh yes, in time he will learn
Hannah -and the bed wetting?
Doctor- try not to make a big thing of if when and if it happens again, just deal with it with little fuss and reassure him.
Hannah -ok thank you.
Doctor- Tom would you like to come here please

Tom jumped up and ran over to the doctor

Doctor- I hear you are a very big boy
Tom- yes, I am
Doctor- would you like a special lollypop?
Tom- can I Hannah?
Hannah – of course sweetie
Tom- yes please then

The doctor handed Tom the lollypop

Tom- thank you
Doctor- you’re very welcome
Hannah -thanks very much
Doctor-no problem

The doctor handed Hannah a piece of paper with some numbers on.

Doctor- call these numbers and arrange for a session for him, im sure it will help, if things don’t get better don’t hesitate to come back and see me

Paul - thanks a lot,
Hannah -say bye bye tom
Tom- bye bye, thank you

Tom Hannah and Paul left Tom sucking on his lolly and Hannah and Paul feeling much better about Tom.

Chapter 14 – Smiles, Surprises and Birthdays

It’s 8 months on and it had been possibly some of the hardest months Hannah and Paul had had to endure, it had tested them both as people and as a pair in their relationship, Tom had had some hard times too, but gradually things were getting better Tom was more confident and outgoing than ever, and now went to nursery 3 days a week, he had lots of friends and today was a very special day for him, he was going to be 4, and he wasn’t keeping his excitement contained. It was 6am

Tom- Hannah!!! Paul!!! Wake up wake up im 4 now im 4 wake uppppppppppppppppp.
Hannah -ohh Happy Birthday, Tom what time is it on ur clock,
Tom- the first number was a 6
Paul - Tom it’s not 6am is it?
Tom- I don’t know the number is 6
Hannah -ok go get your dressing gown

Tom ran off quickly

Hannah rolled over cuddling up to Paul
Paul – this is what having kids is like Han hahaha
Hannah -I know it’s putting me off having them

Paul looked worried an shocked

Paul – really?
Hannah – no of course not really Paul.
Paul - ohh good, I can’t wait to have a baby
Hannah -not yet hey, I mean we have enough on our hands with...

Just then Tom burst right back in, and Hannah finished

Hannah -tom …

Paul kissed Hannah and laughed

Paul – you’re totally right, but we wouldn’t be without you would we hey
Hannah -of course not

Tom jumped on the bed

Tom- it’s my party today, will I get some presents
Hannah -with all of sclub spoiling you as usual I think you will get more than some
Paul - more like a tone
Tom- yes! yes! yes!

He jumped up and down on the bed in excitement

Tom- can I have one now?
Paul - I think we can arrange that
Hannah -yeh you can have your big one it might mean we get some peace

Tom smiled widely, Hannah too she was so happy to see her little brother so happy like any other 4 year old 8 months ago she would never have thought it possible.

Paul got out of bed to get the present going out of the room he came back in pushing a mini land rover, just like the big ones but in miniature form, Tom’s eyes were as wide as buttons

Tom- A CARRRRRRR, I have a car like Hannah’s
Paul - you have a car better than Hannah’s
Hannah -ha ha Paul
Tom- wow its amazing thank you

Paul helped tom into the car, he soon got used to it and was off around the flat in it, Paul climbed back into bed with Hannah and hugged her

Hannah -I love you
Paul - love you too, he seems happy
Hannah -I know, I never thought id see the day paul really
Paul - it’s been hard but I think the worst is over now, we did it Hannah,
Hannah -I know, and I don’t know what I would have done without you
Paul - don’t think of it, Han can I ask you a question?
Hannah – sure

Paul reached for something on the table by his bed

Paul - will you marry me
Hannah -what!!! yes!! yes!! of course I will

Paul placed the ring on Hannah’s finger and Hannah fell in to Paul’s arms crying with happiness.

Paul - hey why are you crying?
Hannah -I’m just so happy I love you so much

Paul wiped Hannah’s tears

Paul - I love you too

She kissed him on the lips, all the noise caused tom to come back to the bed room in his little car.

Tom- why are you crying Hannah are you sad
Hannah -no tom not at all im very very happy
Paul - come and sit here with us Tom

Tom climbed out of his car and jumped on the bed in between Paul and Hannah.

Paul – Hannah and Paul have some news for you
Hannah -Paul and me are going to get married Tom
Tom- Married what’s married,
Hannah -hahah it means we love each other very much Tom and you
Paul - and you are going to have a very important job to do
Tom- can I still have my party?
Hannah -of course you can

Paul and Hannah gave tom a big hug together.

*********************** LATER THAT DAY**********************************

It was 2 hours until Tom party they were going to have the party at a kids activity centre about 20 mins away from the flat, so Hannah and Paul drove with Tom to meet the rest of the sclubbers before the party, Tom was like a jumping bean, as they arrived, he ran inside the house

Jon - hey guys how’s things, Happy Birthday Tom
Tom – thanks, I got my very own car Paul say’s its better than Hannah’s

Jon laughed

Jon - he’s right..
Tom- Hannah and Paul are getting married

Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to Hannah and Paul

Rachel - Hannah ??
Jon - Paul ??
Hannah and Paul – What ??
Jo - are you ?
Paul - are we what ?
Tina - getting married
Hannah -I don’t know are we Paul ?
Paul - well I did ask and she said yes so I suppose we are

Everyone – awww omg

Rachel - congratulations guys
Tina - we’re really happy
Jo - I hope im bridesmaid, congratulations guys
Jon - im really happy things are working out for you both, congratulations.
Brad- yeh it’s good
Paul - thanks guys
Hannah -yeh we really couldn’t be happier finally I feel like I have a life
Paul - one we can share

Rachel smiled and laughed

Rachel - ohh you guys make me sick hahahhah
Jo - yeh you’re too sweet for words
Paul - thanks guy’s hhahaah
Tom- im having a party
Rachel - ohh that reminds me I have some presents I guess now you have your car you don’t want them
Tom- I DO !!
Rachel - ohh ok then ill go find them

Hannah and Paul were right the sclubbers had spoilt Tom rotten with toys games, videos, DVD’s he was going to be busy for ages

Hannah -say thank you to everyone

Tom ran up to everyone in turn and gave them a hug and a kiss

It was then time to go to the hall for the party, all of toms friends turned up as well as Paul’s mum she was really getting used to having little Tom around in fact Paul was sure she saw him as a grandson, after a busy afternoons partying Paul and Hannah went back to their flat with tom already sound asleep in the car. Paul carried him inside the flat and got him into bed he then went to find Hannah who was sitting in the living room looking at her ring.

Paul - do you like it?
Hannah -Paul I love it, I.. I just can’t believe we are going to get married
Paul - im so pleased you said yes there was a part of me that was really worried
Hannah -ohh Paul I could never say no to marring you never ever, I love you so much
Paul - I love you so much more

They kissed for a while, Hannah then winked at Paul

Hannah -want to go to bed
Paul - im not that tired
Hannah -well I wasn’t thinking off sleeping just yet

Paul winked back

Paul – ahhh I see, you bad girl

They both laughed as Paul chased Hannah into the bedroom where they collapsed on the bed in a passionate kiss.

Chapter 15 - Happy Ending

Time flied by it was now 6 months on, Tom was growing fast and preparing to go to big school, Hannah and Paul were getting married in just a few days, and the best news of all was Hannah was pregnant so they would be having a baby in 4 months times. Hannah and Paul also had some big news to tell their band mates and Paul’s family. They were just in the middle of telling them, tom as playing in the garden.

Rachel - so your do it at the same time as getting married?
Paul - that’s right then he will be our adopted child
Hannah -It’s good for Tom and for us effective we will be his parents now
Jo - ohh guys that’s the best news really
Jon - will he take Paul’s name like you Han
Paul - well that’s the plan
Tina - aww then you can be a little sweet family of Cattermole’s (yeh Cath the Cattermole’s:-P cooool lol)
Hannah -that’s right teen
Brad- So what does tom think?
Paul - he thinks it’s cool but I really don’t think he will understand fully until he’s a bit bigger
Hannah -I think in the long run he will thank us
Rachel - sure he will
Jon - I bet your mum’s pleased Paul
Paul - yeh what with Hannah having our baby and Tom adoption she’s on cloud 9 right now.

Just then tom ran in from the garden

Tom- Paul look I found worms
Rachel - eww
Tom- they aren’t ewwww
Paul - that’s cool tom but take them to the garden it freaks Rachel out
Tom- ok, I'm going to put them in a bucket and take them home

Tom ran back outside

Jo - he’s turning into a proper boy isn’t he
Hannah -yeh he has a great little character
Rachel - if I have a little boy even he won’t be into worms

Everyone laughed.

A few days passed and it was the day of Hannah and Paul’s wedding, Hannah couldn’t have been happier, the only thing she really missed her parents on occasions like this, she would have done anything to have her mum see her in her wedding dress and her dad walking her down the isle, but se just kept thinking of the rest of her life with Paul, Rachel, Jo, Tina and Sheridan would be her bridesmaids, Tom of course was the page boy, and it was decided Neil would give her away, and Jon and brad would be best men, it took a lot to sort out but Neil couldn’t to best man and giving away, and as it was going to be upsetting enough for Hannah Paul let her choose. Hannah was getting ready with the girls in the sclub house.

Rachel - come on Han time for make up

Hannah sat on a chair by the mirror while all the girls railed around her.

Sheridan- you want a nice subtle eye shadow, and …

Hannah began to cry little small tears escaped her eyes

Jo - what’s the matter Han don’t say you’re having second thoughts

Hannah laughed a little

Hannah -no of course never, it’s just... I wish my mum and dad were here

Sheridan and Jo Hugged Hannah a little
Tina - of course you do it’s your special day, but they are up there in the clouds watching down on you
Rachel - and they are going to be the proudest parents in the world

All the girls hugged Hannah together, Hannah wiped her tears

Hannah -thanks for all this guys
Tina - don’t thank us it was needed
Sheridan- yeh we need to send you off to Paul looking half decent we don’t want you on the market again
Hannah -oii,
Rachel - ok I think we are done

The girls stood back taking a look At Hannah’s lovely makeup and neat but pretty hair in soft curls pinned up.

Tina - well I think you’re going to Paul a happy man
Sheridan – we won’t be able to keep his hands off you
Rachel - well that’s no change hahah
Jo - well I think you look beautiful Hannah
Sheridan- you really do Hannah
Rachel –a real life princess
Tina - you’re going to blow him away

Hannah smiled

Hannah -well we better go before I’m more than fashionably late and he thinks I’m not turning up
Rachel - right then,

Jo looks out of the window

Jo - the cars here
Hannah -ok here goes the beginning of the rest of my life

Sheridan hugs Hannah

Hannah -your be fine go get the man girl

Hannah laughed, as they all made their way to the car, the church wasn’t far and in true bride style Hannah was fashionably late, so in Hannah went to the church, and she began to walk down the isle with her bridesmaids behind her, and Neil holding her arm, Neil gave her a reassuring kiss on the cheek, as the wedding march played, everyone stood up and Paul looked right at his beautiful future wife they smiled at each other as Hannah arrived at Paul and held his hand, little Tom stood in-between Jon and Brad in his little suit and waistcoat. They went through the ceremony ….

Priest- I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss your bride

Paul lifted back Hannah’s Vail gently kissing her on the lips, they smiled at each other know they would be happy forever now, for the next part they needed to go to a registers office close by where they made little Tom an official Cattermole, too after and eventful morning everyone was now enjoying a nice meal at a posh hotel.

Hannah -well I’m officially Mrs Cattermole
Paul - I know I’m so happy
Hannah -me too I hated the surname Spearritt,

Hannah laughed and kissed Paul

Tom- does that mean; you’re my new mummy and daddy
Paul - we will never replace mummy and daddy Tom
Hannah -but it does mean we love you more than ever before
Tom- more than the new baby?
Hannah -not more but just as much
Rachel - well I must say that’s one of the nicest weddings I have ever been too
Jon - yeh what a lovely service
Sheridan- I don’t believe after all these years you finally did it
Neil- yeh who would have thought little Hannah and Rock Paul would ever get together never mind married
Tina - well I suppose strange things happen
Jo - yeh you never know what life going to dish out to you
Paul - and a lot of it isn’t always good

Paul held Hannah’s hand

Hannah -but the good parts always out weigh the bad
Paul – ohh how right you are.

Evening drew and as tradition Hannah and Paul left first, tonight they would stay in a very lovely very expensive hotel, Tom was going to stay with the other sclubbers. They caught a cab to the hotel, and were showed to their room.

Paul - gosh I knew it would be nice
Hannah -it’s amazing, thank you
Paul - no thank you for making me the happiest man alive
Hannah -I’m the happiest girl too

Hannah and Paul kissed, they laid on their bed just chatting about nothing like they always did, but they both knew, this was the beginning of something very special for a very special couple.
