The shower was so nice just what Hannah needed to wake her up she didn't want to get out of bed this morning curled up to Paul she felt so warm and safe he literally had to kick her out of bed this morning. The hot water sprayed her body as she rubbed the shower gel over her stomach and breast suddenly she felt a lump in her right breast she moved her hand up to the breast feeling again just to make sure there was defiantly something there what was she going to do just then Paul walked into the bathroom.

Paul -Honey can I join you
Hannah - Err err no I want to shoe alone.
She didn't want Paul knowing about the lump it might be nothing and he would only worry.

Paul- Are you OK sweet heart we always have a shower together
Hannah -Yes Paul I am fine just leave me alone she snaps
Paul -Ok fine

He leaves slamming the door behind him. Hannah gets out of the shower and wraps a towel around herself and goes to see Paul.

Hannah - I am sorry honey I didn't mean to snap
Paul- It's OK what's the matter
Hannah - Nothing I'm fine just tired
Paul- Han I know you better than that something is up come on you can tell me anything you know you can.

He puts a protective arm around Hannah and kisses her neck, Hannah gives in and starts to sob Paul holds her close.

Paul- What is it han it really can't be that bad
Hannah - Yes it can I found a lump Paul
Paul- Lump where
Hannah -(still crying) in my breast.
Paul - Oh Han sweetheart it's OK we can get through this together we need to get you checked out by the doctor I'll phone Simon and tell him we are going to be late this morning, I'll phone and tell Jon too.
Hannah -Paul will you come In with me im scared really what if I die.
Paul - Wow calm down babe of course I'll come in with you lets see what the doctor has to say before we panic too much.
He kisses her forehead then makes the phone calls.

Hannah and Paul are sitting in the waiting room.

Paul -It will be OK
Hannah -I wish I had you confidence
Receptionist- Hannah Speritt
Paul- come on

He took her hand and lead her into the doctors room.

Doctor- Hello Miss Spearitt please take a seat how may I help you.
Hannah - Erm I have found a lump on my breast
Doctor - Ok lets have a look could you pop behind the curtain and remove your top.

Paul gives her a reassuring look as she goes to undress. The doctor examines Hannah.

Doctor - Right you may get dressed know miss Speritt
Paul - Well what do you think is it cancer

Hannah joins the doctor and Paul

Hannah -Please Paul don't say that word
Paul -Sorry honey.
Doctor - Well there is certainly something there I need to send you for some test you will need a blood test and biopsy of the lump.
Paul - An operation.
Doctor - Yes just a small one
Hannah -Tell me straight am I going to die.
Doctor - If and only if this is cancer you have caught it early the lump is small we will just have to wait and see
Hannah - Ok thanks a lot

They both leave hand in hand returning to work.

Paul - Han are you sure you are up to work
Hannah - Yeah I just want to be as normal as possible for know, Thanks Paul
Paul - What for
Hannah - For being there all the time and never letting me down
Paul - I love you Hannah it come naturally
Hannah - I love you too come on lets get going.

(At 19 management headquarters)

Bradley - Hi guys what happened to you two this morning.
Paul - We had to visit the doctors
Jo -Your not pregnant are you han
Hannah -Ho Jo in a way I wish that was all it was.
Tina -What
Hannah -I'll tell you later

The boys go off for an interview with Smash Hits while the girls stay put

Paul - I'll see you later if you need for anything just call OK I love you
Hannah - I love you too and don't worry
Paul -I'll try not to

They kiss and the boys leave.

Rachel -Are you OK han Paul seems really over protective today
Jo -why did you go to the doctors are you sick
Hannah -No, I don't know I found a lump
Tina -Oh my god Hannah where
Hannah -On my breast.
Rachel -No wonder Paul was like that
Jo- What are they doing about it.
Hannah - I have an appointment next week for tests and a biopsy.
Tina -If there is anything we can do just say
Rachel -Yeah han anything
Hannah -Thanks for your support guys.

The girls wait at the head quarter a while longer before heading of to smash hit to do there interview.

Part 2

The week went really slowly but the day had final arrived for Hannah to go for her tests her and Paul sat waiting in the hospital waiting room.

Paul -Are you OK honey

He says holding her hand

Hannah -Yeah I will be once this is all over I just hate waiting
Paul - I know babe it won't be long and we can go home promise

Just then Hannah's name was called and her and Paul followed the doctor into the room.

Doctor -Right his Speritt you know what is going to happed today right first we take some blood then you go in for a small operation to remove some of the Lump for a biopsy
Hannah -Yeah I know how long is this going to take I just want to go home with my boyfriend
Doctor -The operation will last about 45 minutes so you should be able to go home later tonight.
Paul - Great lets get on with it
Hannah -What if it is Cancer and when will you know.
Doctor -We will know more in a few days when the test results are back.

And with that Paul went with Hannah to settle her into her room, once the blood was taken Hannah was ready for her operation.

Nurse -I am afraid you will have to wait here looking at Paul.
Paul -Oh OK

He leans over Hannah and kisses her on the lips

Paul cont -I love you honey I'll be right here when you get back
Hannah -I love you too.

55 Minutes later Paul was sitting next to Hannah in recovery,

Paul -How do you feel honey.
Hannah - A bit sore but I'm glad it's over
Paul strokes Hannah's hair
Paul -Don't speak babe just rest.

Hannah was just waking up properly when the doctor came in.

Doctor - well everything seems to have gone to plan we took a biopsy and sent it to the lab we should have the results in the next 4-5 days so if you come back then we can talk some more.
Paul -Can I take her home now
Doctor -If Hannah feel up to it yes but no dancing around for a few days oh don't worry there won't be.

Paul then took Hannah home to wait for her results.

Part 3

RING RING RING RING.

Hannah - Hello, Yes OK thank you we will be right down

Hannah had just had a call on her mobile from the hospital to go down and get her results her and the rest of the band were waiting to go on stage to perform.

Hannah- Paul the hospital phone we have to go and get the results
Paul -OK come on lets go and get this over with.
Jo -Bye guys good luck
Brad -Yeah good luck.

With that Hannah and Paul left. They were know sitting in the doctors room.

Doctor -Well Miss Spearitt we have the result and I am afraid to say the test show it is Cancer.

Hannah starts to cry and buries her face in to Paul's chest.
Paul -It's OK sweet heart we can get through this.
Doctor- What we need to talk about is the best form of Treatment for you.
Hannah -Am I going to die
Doctor - Breast cancer is very treatable especially in the early stages your is sort of in the middle there is a 60/40 change of survival. I think the best treatment for you is a course of chemotherapy as well as removal of the lump
Paul - OK whatever you think best when will this happen
Doctor -We will book you in for the operation in two days so you can come back then after the lump is removed then we start chemotherapy.
Hannah -Ok thank you I want to go home know.
Doctor -OK I'll see you soon.

Paul and Hannah then walked out with Paul's arm around Hannah.

(At home in there flat)

Hannah and Paul are sitting on the couch.
Hannah -My good Paul I could actual die I'm going to lose my hair and let the band down.
Paul -You won't let the band down they will understand Han you can't help being I'll and you aren't going to die I promise we haven't got married yet.
Hannah -Yeah about that I think me and you need to split up you need some one who is well not me.
Paul -Don't be sill Hannah I love no one else and you won't be Ill forever I want to help you through this
Hannah -It's for the best you stay here I'll go stay with Rach for a while.

Hannah then got up picked up a bag she had already packed and left for Rachel's in tears, Paul was also crying

Paul -Hannah come back I love you please don't go I can't live without
Hannah -I'm sorry Paul.

(At Rachel's House)

Rachel -Hannah what are you doing here

Hannah collapsed on Rachel's couch in tears
Rachel -What did the doctor say Han
Hannah -Oh rach it's all gone wrong I have cancer I going to die and lose all my hair what am I going to do.
Rachel -SHHHH it's alright Han WHERE IS Paul
Hannah -We split up it's not fair on him he needs to find a better women than me beside in 6 months I could be dead.
Rachel -You mustn't think like that Han, and Paul loves you, you can't push him away.
Hannah -I don't know what to do all I want is a hug from Paul but I don't even know if he will have me back.
Rachel - Don't be sill Hannah he know what a hard time you are having I'll phone him and ask him to come around

20 minutes later there is a knock on Rachel's door.

Rachel -Hi Paul she's in the sitting room I'll be upstairs if you need me
Paul -Thanks Rach.
Hannah -Paul I am so sorry I pushed you away

He scoops her up in his arms and gives her a long hug

Paul -It's OK sweet heart you going through a hard time but I promise you we will get through this and I am going to help you.
Hannah -Thanks Paul I love you so much
Paul -I love you to now shall we go home
Hannah -Yes please

They kissed said there goodbye's and thanks to Rachel and went home. In the next Chapter Hannah has her operation and her first course of treatment.

Part 4

Hannah - Paul I scared I really don't want to go
Paul -Honey I know your scared but to get better you have to do this
Hannah - I know just promise me you won't leave me
Paul -I promise now come on lets go or we will be late

It was the day of Hannah first chemotherapy the lump had been removed successfully and this was the final hurdle. Hannah and Paul arrive at the hospital hand in hand Paul gentle kisses Hannah on the head.

Paul -It will be OK I promise.
Hannah -Yeah I know
Doctor -Right miss Spearitt if you would like to follow me

Hannah and Paul followed the doctor into a room where Hannah as fixed up to a machine with a drip.

Paul -How long is this going to take
Doctor -Oh a good few hours
Hannah - Then I can go home
Doctor -Well we will have to see how you feel
Hannah -Sure I understand.

(6 hours later)

Hannah -Paul I feel really sick
Paul -I know sweetheart it's properly the medication you will feel better soon

Just then Hannah threw up all of the bed and just about missed Paul. Hannah starts to cry.

Hannah -I'm sorry Paul really I am I feel so rotten I'm going to feel like this for the next month I don't want to have to treatment anymore.
Paul helps Hannah clean up and takes her in his arm
Paul -Hey it's OK your bound to be feeling rotten it will wear off just give it time.
Hannah -No Paul I have thought about it no more treatment
Paul -Hannah you can't you NEED this treatment there is no choice about it.
Hannah -Yes there is I want to die in peace Paul

Just then Hannah's mum walked in she had come to stay whist Hannah had her treatment.

Hannah's Mum - Hi guy how are you.
Paul -Hannah want to stop the treatment
Hannah's Mum -Whatever for
Hannah -You too don't know what it's like you say you do but you don't you have no idea.
Paul - I know we don't Han but we can try to understand please I love you I don't want you to die.
Hannah - I love you to but look at me Paul.
Paul -I am and to me you are still the most beautiful women in the world.
Hannah's Mum -Paul's right sweet heart you must continue we are all here to help.
Hannah - OK

Paul hugs Hannah, just then there is a knock at the door.

Jo -Hello how is the sick and suffering
Hannah -More sick than suffering
Rachel -Well we have something to cheer you up.
Hannah -Oh yeah what's that
Tina -Well we have fruit, video's, Magazine's
Jo -And chocolate
Rachel -Yeah and lots of it
Hannah -Thanks guys just what I wanted
Jon-How are you feeling
Hannah -A bit sick but nothing I can't handle
Paul -Yeah she was sick on the bed and all over me it must have been that doggy food I cooked
Hannah -Hahahaha YOU cooked it no wonder I was sick.
Brad -Yeah the words Paul and cooking don't exactly go together
All -Hahahahahahah.
Jo -Well we better go it's getting late
Rachel -Yeah and we will be back to tomorrow to pick you up.
Hannah -OK see you bye.

Once they had all gone Paul sat on the edge of Hannah's bed

Paul - Are you OK
Hannah - Yeah thanks for being so patient I know I've been a cow today
Paul - You are allowed you have had major treatment today.
Hannah -Yeah but I was pushing away the one person who has been here the whole time with be.
Paul -I understand Hannah really I do

He kisses Hannah on the lips

Paul -Know you gets some rest and I'll be right here when you wake up.
Hannah -I love you Paul
Paul -I love you too

Hannah then feel asleep holding Paul's hand. In the next Chapter Hannah's comes out of hospital from her last chemo and try to get back to normal.

Part 5

It's 6.30 in the morning and Paul and Hannah are lying in bed, it had been 2 months now since Hannah's last treatment and her and Paul and the rest of the band were trying to get back to normal, Paul Lay in bed looking at Hannah who was fast asleep curled up to him he was so glad she was on the mend he loved her so much and couldn't bare to lose her, Hannah began to stir.

Paul - Good morning sexy how are you he kisses her on the head
Hannah -Yeah great I feel really great
Paul - Good we have a interview today do you think your up to it
Hannah -For sure I can't wait to get back into it.
Paul -well we better get ready then

Paul and Hannah got up got dressed and drove to meet the others at the Saturday Show studios

Bradley -Hi guys it's great to see you looking so well han
Rachel -Yeah it great to have you back
Hannah -Thanks guys it's great to be back
Jo -Come on lets get on with it or well be late.

S club 7 are sitting on a couch in the studio waiting to be interviewed

Jo Mace - So s club 7 how are you all
All -Great thanks
Danni -So Hannah have you recovered from your treatment
Hannah -Yeah I still have to have check ups but I'm feeling great at the moment
Jo Mace -That's great it must have been really hard on you and the others.
Hannah -Yeah but we got through it
Tina -Yeah and now we are back together as the s club 7 again
Danni -Any wedding bells in the air for Paul and Hannah
Paul -Possible but not right now
Hannah - But defiantly in the near future
Joe Mace -So you are going to perform you new single for us
Jon -Yeah it's called 'YOU'
Danni -Great here are the Club 7 with 'YOU'

They go and perform then go and sit down for a while.

Paul -Hannah you OK
Hannah -Yeah a bit tired but it's going to take some getting used to again
Paul -If you don't feel well tell me
Hannah -OK I will

Paul goes of to join the other boys and Rachel comes to talk to Hannah

Rachel -Hi Han
Hannah -Hi rach
Rachel -You look really pale you not over doing it are you
Hannah - (looking very dizzy) noooo I'mmm

'BANG' she collapses on the floor

Rachel -Hannah Hannah please wake up Paul come here quick. Paul runs over to Hannah taking her in his arm.

Paul -It's OK baby I'll look after you I'm here

They take Hannah into the hospital Bradley drives they figure it would be quicker than ambulance. They take Hannah up to the cancer ward.

Hannah -Paul is my cancer back
Paul strokes her head
Paul -I don't now sweet heart I really don't
Hannah -Oh Paul I couldn't cope if it ......
Paul - shushhh don't think about that now.

Just then to doctor came in

Doctor -Hello again Miss Spearitt
Hannah -Hi has the cancer come back
Doctor - No everything seem fine I just think you did to much too soon go home and take it easy don't do too much rushing around.
Paul - Oh see won't trust me
Hannah -Oh I'm so pleased
Paul -me to babe now lets get you home to rest I'll phone the others and tell them your OK

Paul and Hannah then went home to their flat.

6 months latter Hannah was now fully recovered and back full time with the s club 7 her and Paul were also planning their wedding which would be early next year.
