It was 11.30am on the 25/12/02 Hannah and Paul were laying snuggled up in bed together they had been dating nearly a year they have been sharing a flat for 4 months and this was going to be there first Christmas as a couple, Paul stirred and turned over gentle to look at the alarm clock on the bed side table, this caused Hannah to stir too.
Paul: Merry Christmas Sexy
Hannah: Merry Christmas babe, what’s the time
Paul: Just gone 11.30
He kissed Hannah on the lips and Started to get out of bed
Hannah: Where you going
Paul: To get your presents you do want them don’t ya
Hannah (smiling) : Course need you ask
Paul: right then I’ll be back in a sec
When Paul left the room Hannah got out of bed and rummaged through her clothes cupboard for Paul’s presents finally she pulled out some roughly wrapped presents and laved them on the bed just as Paul returned
Paul: oh I see I have presents too
Hannah: Of course you do
They both sat on the bed next to each other
Paul: Open one of yours first
Hannah: Ok
Hannah picks up a small rectangular shaped box wrapped in red and green wrapping paper and slowly starts to tear the paper of to reveal a red velvet box she opens it and in side Is a silver charm bracelet with assorted charms attached,
Hannah: Oh Paul it lovely beautiful, thank you so much
Hannah gives Paul a hug and kisses him on the lips
Paul: I’m glad you like it that’s the one you wanted wasn’t it
Hannah: Yeah just the one how did you know?
Paul: Sheridan told me and I sort of heard you talking about it
Hannah: Your turn to open one
Paul: Lovely wrapping Han
Hannah: Yes I know, wrapping is not my strong point especially when the presents come in funny shaped boxes
Paul: I’m joking baby it’s the thought that counts, I’ll open this one
Paul picks up a brightly coloured odd shaped present and quickly takes the paper off to reveal a v, expensive Rolex watch
Paul: Hannah this is great thanks honey but you shouldn’t have spent this much money
Hannah: You are worth every penny besides I’m hardly hard up am I
Paul: Thanks anyway it lovely, and just what I needed
Paul gives Hannah and long passionate kiss
Hannah: No problem
Hannah and Paul Laugh and both run to the bathroom heading for the shower.
An Hour and a half later Hannah and Paul arrive at their friends house 45 mins late at 1.15
Neil: Well done guys you made in before we had to dish up
10 minutes later everyone was sat around the dining room table eating dinner
Neil: So how the living arrangements going
Hannah Paul and Sheridan clear the plates whilst Neil gets the pudding.
4 hours later diner is finished and Hannah and Paul decided to head home
Paul: Thanks for a lovely dinner guys
20 mins later Hannah and Paul arrive home
Hannah: Well that was nice wasn’t it?
Paul: Yeah it was a great day
Hannah and Paul share a long kiss and cuddle and head to open the rest of their presents.
Paul: We had better open the rest of these later or we will be late for dinner (Hannah and Paul were spending the day at Sheridan and Neil’s place and were having Christmas dinner there)
Hannah: Oh we can afford to have a nice hot shower together after all everyone sort of expects us to be late as we always are
Paul: True and we wouldn’t want to disappoint them now would we?
Hannah: Ha-ha Neil
Paul: We didn’t want to disappoint you and arrive too early
Sheridan: did you like you present Han
Hannah: Yeah it was beautiful; you said you did know what Paul had bought me
Paul: Hannah Spearritt you didn’t go probing your best friend for ideas on you present did you
Hannah: Me no never
Sheridan: I was sworn to secrecy anyway
Paul: That’s right and you would have had no presents either
Sheridan: Can someone please come and carve this turkey
Neil: I’ll do it
Sheridan: Want a drink guys
Hannah and Paul: Yes please
Hannah: I’ll have a Jack Daniels and coke
Paul: I’ll just have a beer thanks
Hannah: I’d say well we haven’t had any major disagreements yet
Paul: Yeah I think we are both really enjoying it especially as we have some time of at the moment it nice to be able to sort things out together
Neil: My god look at you two you’re like an old married couple
Sheridan: Oh leave then alone Neil, I think it’s great you’re both so happy
Neil: So are wedding bells on the cards
Hannah and Paul: No
Hannah: Not no as in never
Paul: Yeah no as in not yet we are to young for all that
Hannah: Yeah but I’d like to think one day we will
Sheridan: Well you both seemed to have changed, not for the bad for the good you seem happier
Hannah: That’s because we are
Paul: Yeah happiest we have been in a long time I
Neil: Right time for pudding
Hannah: Yeah well see you New Year yeah
Sheridan and Neil: Yeah see ya bye
Hannah: I do love you your know
Paul: Yeah I know I love you to, shall we open the rest of our presents
Hannah: Yeah come on
