Kids Week 2006

Its that time again when Theatres in the West End join together for kids week- a chance to encourage the younger generation
into appreciating the wonders of the Theatre. This year Jon has been given
the honour of being the Ambassador for kids week (18th August - 1st September), and hopefully with his pop background he will be a great
representation of how young and alive the theatre is today.
Anybody interested in kids week, children ages 5-16 can go free with a paying adult, booking begins 25th July.

Former boyband stars from such seminal groups as S Club, Steps and New Kids On The Block have been united for MTV’s new show Totally Boyband,
coming to your screens in September.
After weeks of speculation, the Totally Boyband members were brought together for the first time this morning at a press conference in London.
So to the members:
First up is Danny Wood from the mighty New Kids On The Block. Then we have Dane Bowers from Another Level, Jimmy Constable from 911, Lee
Latchford-Evans from Steps and Bradley McIntosh from S Club 7. And there you have it!
The aforementioned five, who between them have sold 87 million albums, banked 40 top ten singles and have scored 11 number ones, come
together in a bid to reclaim the huge success they once had.
Their task is to make a spectacular comeback as a brand new boyband, in an eight-part warts-and-all reality show from the people that
brought you Totally Scott-Lee last year.
Can they do it? Or will they be rubbish? Totally Boyband premieres on MTV on September 17…

Popjustice was at Totally Boyband press conference and here are the results:
The members of the boyband are:
1. Dame Dane Bowers!
2. Lee Latchford Evans!!
3. Danny New Kid!!!
4. Jimmy Constable!!!!
5. Bradley S Club!!!!!
We asked a question at the press conference. We wanted to know whether they thought they were going to come out of the series looking
like anything other than complete laughing stocks. Dane Bowers told us to kiss his arse. And we all know where that leads - with Dane
sticking his toe up your mimsy. :(
The men in the band are very serious about what they are doing. "I want people to see what I'm about," Bradley said. "I want people to
see what I'm capable of as a producer." Dane Bowers is "just looking forward to getting back to music". "Nobody tells us what to say,
what to do, or what to wear," Lee added, as if that was in any way a good thing.
The TV series will be very funny. It starts in September, there's a single out at the end of October, and the band are being managed by
Jonathan Shalit (although obviously bear in mind that he won't be telling them what to say, wear or do).

Osbourne beats McIntosh

Jack Osbourne beat Bradley McIntosh in a pulsating fight in Sport Relief's 'Battle at the Beeb' to win the Sport Relief Light entertainment belt.
There could only be one winner and Jack was duly announced as the winner after a unanimous judges decision
Jack magnanimously told Bradley after his victory: "There are no losers here tonight we are all winners."
Sport Relief was certainly the big winner of the night raising a record £12,216,598 on the night. Read

Filming of Primaeval has finished

According to zetaminor.com the filming work of ITV's newest show Primaeval, where Hannah plays the zoologist Abby Maidland,
has finished now. The crew had a party at London's Century Club to celebrate the finishing last Thursday. The show will probably
start in early 2007.

Sport Relief Night 2006, Saturday 15th July 2006
Gary Lineker, Davina McCall and Chris Evans join forces for one night to host a TV extravaganza bringing the worlds of sport and entertainment together to raise much-needed cash to help vulnerable people in the UK and around the world.

Paul's UFO experience and new album!

Paul has seen an UFO... Okay, but more important is this sentence: 'Cattermole is beleaved to be recording an album called Don't
Always Believe What You Read, which may be released later this year'! Hopefully it's true!

Local resident and former S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole last week reported seeing a UFO from his balcony. Cattermole, aged 29,
had just ordered a pizza, and since it was such a warm evening, he decided to step out on the balcony. Cattermole said; "As I walked
out onto the balcony, my eye caught this large, circular object coming towards me. It was shaped like a flattened cone, and on top was a
large, brilliant red light, not pulsating as on any of the aircraft I'd ever seen before. I just stood there mesmerized, unable to believe
what I was actually seeing. When it came a little closer, I could make out a row or circle of white lights that ran around the entire
rim of the craft - these were also flashing on and off. There were so many of these lights that it was dazzling to the mind. I watched
the UFO move directly over the building next to where I live. It was, I would estimate, about the size of a Lear jet and it was so close
that if I had had something to throw at it, I probably would have hit it quite easily." The former Reach For the Stars singer has always
had an interest in UFOs and is a subscriber to the British UFO Magazine, the Flying Saucer Review. Cattermole is beleaved to be recording
an album called Don't Always Believe What You Read, which may be released later this year. Paul though is thankful for his experience
with a UFO. "An experience like this truely moves you like nothing else. It's amazing to think that aliens would come to my house," the singer said.
