They first met in 1994 when they were both in a youth theatre organisation (the National Youth Theatre). This time, Hannah was only 13 and Paul was already 17. She fancied him right from the start but she knew she had no chance. He always had lots of girls around him. For him she was a little nerving girl, which always followed him with her best friend Sheridan. After about a year in the theatre they lost contact.

In 1997 both joined an audition for a new pop band, called S Club 7. There they met again but Paul had a girlfriend, Judith. Hannah hadn’t had a boyfriend but she wasn’t in love with Paul, so they only became the best and closest friends of all members of the band.

In May 2001 the band started their first tour around the UK (the S Club Party Live 2001) and in the rehearsing time Han and Paul got closer and closer to each other and knew each other better than before. They could speak to each other about everything and no matter who of them two had a problem with something, they always were good listeners for each other.

This time Hannah noticed there was more than just an easy friendship between them but she was too shy and too afraid of telling him that. But Paul noticed that, too. And finally in one night Han came to Paul’s room and needed a hug because she was homesick and after hugging her and make her feel better, Paul suddenly kissed her.

For about one week the kept their relationship secret and wanted to see how it works in job and private. When they knew it was serious they told the rest of the band and all together decided to keep it secret. Only after the kissing scene in Hollywood 7 (autumn 2001) they decided to make it public.

Their love survived Paul leaving the band, the band splitting one year later and 3 further years then. In summer 2006, after 5 years together, they split up. But in our hearts they'll always stay Two in a Million.
