Hannah's birthday off to an early start
FORMER S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt caused a stir this weekend when she and a group of girlfriends arrived at Grafton Street haunt Lillie's Bordello for a night on the tiles to celebrate her upcoming birthday.Source: Herald.ie
The Diary caught up with the singer-turned-actress on Saturday night as she let her hair down at the celebrity hotspot after a day's shopping in the city centre, explaining that it was the perfect spot to mark her birthday, which falls next Thursday.
Hannah (28) is no stranger to the venue, with her and former S Club bandmate Rachel Stevens memorably taking to the stage in the past to treat revellers to an impromptu set of the group's songs.
The bubbly blonde, who is engaged to her Primeval co-star Andrew Lee Potts, was adamant, however, that she would not be taking to stage to sing this time, insisting that they were there for a quiet celebration and nothing more.
Primeval Begins Production in Ireland
Production is now underway in Ireland on the new instalment of ITV’s hit cult series ‘Primeval’. 13 new episodes of the sci-fi drama will film on location here until early November. The new series will feature the return of stars from the previous series including Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee Potts,Ben Miller and Ben Mansfield. Irish talent joining the cast include Ciarán McMenamin (Outcast, One Hundred Mornings) and Ruth Kearney (Shark City) who play new characters Matt and Jess respectively. James Bradshaw (Brideshead Revisted), who appeared in the first series of ‘Primeval’, also returns as Duncan.Source: The Irish Film & Television NetworkBeginning 22nd of March shooting will continue until November 2010 on locations around Dublin and Wicklow. Locations Manager Dermot Cleary confirms the first block will see filming in Powerscourt Estate, The O2, Dublin port, Grand Canal Dock and Park West Business Park. A lineup of top directors will work on ‘Primeval’ with series three veterans Mark Everest and Cilla Ware beginning the helmer rota and more directors’ names will be confirmed at a later date. Production design is by Michael Ralph (Silent Witness) with costumes designed by Irish designer Gaby Rooney (Wardrobe Assistant, My Boy Jack).
Irish DOP Donal Gilligan (Omagh, Dead Bodies) will photograph the series using cameras supplied by Panavision Ireland. Cine Electric has provided lighting with editing facilities serviced by Windmill Lane. Framestore CFC will continue their collaboration on special effects with Richard Cox editing the series in-house. A team of twelve screenwriters have worked on the drama with series four picking up several months after the explosive conclusion to series three, which saw characters Danny, Connor and Abby stranded in different time periods.
A UK/Ireland/Germany co-production, ‘Primeval’ avails of Ireland’s attractive Section 481 incentives with support from the Irish Film Board. The series is produced by Jim Bradley of Impossible Pictures and Rob Walpole for the Irish based Treasure Entertainment. Series four will screen on ITV1 from 2011 with series five continuing on UKTV’s new entertainment pay TV Channel, Watch. The producers have worked closely with BBC Worldwide to implement a new funding strategy for the series, in which BBC America, which has acquired previous series for broadcast in the US, joins Germany’s Pro7 as a co-production partner for the new episodes. Tim Haines, Creative Director of Impossible Pictures Ltd, said: “I am thrilled that ITV has agreed to this new deal which will allow Impossible Pictures to produce another 13 episodes of Primeval. The confidence demonstrated in the programme's continued success here and abroad will help us bring more big screen action and a whole host of new creatures roaring back into people's living rooms.”
Excitement continues for the new series with Paul Moreton, Channel Head of Watch, commenting: “We are really excited to be part of this truly innovative deal that guarantees the continuation of this fantastically entertaining series. I know Primeval is going to be a massive hit with Watch viewers and the perfect complement to other popular sci-fi dramas such as Doctor Who and Torchwood.”
New layout on Rachelicious
I've changed the layout on Rachelicious, it is made by
Leedie Designs. I don't think I need to tell this but
it looks amazing!
I've also added HQ pictures of Rachel's performances in 2004. There are altogether 100 images
and many of them have never been posted on any Rachel site before, at least not in high quality.
Check out the design and images:
New design
How do you like the new design? I was bored yesterday and thought I could as well do something useful and here's the result.
Pink is not my favourite colour although some of you might think so, haha, I don't know why my layouts always turn out to
be pink. Nevertheless it looks really good, doesn't it? I don't think I've ever made a layout with one member only
but Tina just looks so good I had to. What do you think about it, should it always be the whole band? Anyway, please give
me some feedback and enjoy the fresh look, I named it Making Me Dance.
Jo excited about the gigs in Egypt
Jo O'Meara: is getting very exited for egypt now ! still lots to do before hand but the countdown is on!!!!
Lyrics added

a great friend of the two. This information was given to ME personally so if this is where you read about it please credit.
Bradley is still singing on their amazing single 'Is That You' which is now out on digital download. Buy it from iTunes or Amazon. They have a great website with links to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace etc. so check it out too. And last but not least, the official music video:
Additions
RACHEL Stevens has put on her dancing shoes once again. Rachel Stevens looked every bit the ballerina in a luxurious golden tutu-esque dress this week. The former Strictly Come Dancing star posed elegantly in her ballerina inspired outfit and appeared to enjoy her new role. But sadly Rachel won't be wowing us with her moves once again. Rachel in Cadbury's flake shoot
STUNNING Rachel Stevens is sure to get her fans crumbling at the knees in this latest chocolate promotion. The Strictly star fulfilled every little girl's dream as she was transformed into a spinning music box ballerina for a Cadbury's Flake shoot. In her best ballerina stance, the brunette showed she's held onto the graceful moves she wowed judges with after coming second in the 2008 series of the BBC1 dance show. And in her cream dress and shawl, she showed off her stunning curves. She's certainly a treat.

Another confirmation to Rachel's comeback
We were at a party last night – as you do – and Rachel Stevens was there. We waited for a chance to sashay on over and tell her that Come and Get It is one of the best albums of all time. And, of course, to have a nose about the rumours we’ve heard of her popping into the Fascination records offices and such like. She only went and confirmed that she’s coming back to planet pop. That was an absolute definite “yes” when asked if she was going back to music. Bless her, she never stopped smiling while we squealed and asked if she was going to be working with Xenomania and signed to Fascination, home of all things pop. “It’s early days,” was all she’d say with her cheeky grin.Source: Milano214

Rachel at a charity show at the Radlett Centre
Dancers dazzled a sold-out audience during two performances of a “musical spectacular” at the Radlett Centre this weekend. More than 70 dancers, aged between three and 18, from the Vanessa Class School of Dance, which is based in Bushey, took to the stage for the two-hour production. And among those in the crowd were Thomas Law, who plays Ian Beale's son Peter in EastEnders, on Saturday and former S Club 7 singer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Rachel Stevens on Sunday.Source: Watford Observer and CynthiaThe show mixed song and dance, with every element of the show, including music, costumes and choreography, overseen by Vanessa, from Little Potters, in Bushey Heath. Vanessa, who began the preparations last September, said: “I get the most amazing buzz and excitement and adrenaline just watching the kids perform after six months of dance classes. It's the most unbelievable feeling. Even the kids that cannot dance, they still look amazing and you're so proud of what they have achieved. “They [the dancers] love it. They moan in classes about having extra rehearsals but when it comes to the weekend, they are so excited about doing it.” Vanessa began dancing when she was three, went to stage school and later trained with the Vienna Festival Ballet Company.
Like her mother, she became a dance teacher, instructing her pupils in ballet, tap and jazz. She ran two schools in Elstree and Harrow for 12 years before having children of her own. Then when they were three, Vanessa opened two schools in Bushey, offering tuition in jazz, hip hop and tap. Her two children, Jessica, 16, and Sasha, 15, who have been dancing since they were three, are both pupils at the school. And for the past ten years Vanessa has produced an annual show to raise £85,000 for charity.
This year she hopes to raise £4,000 for Fight For Life, a charity that supports children battling cancer. Singer Rachel Stevens is a patron of the Fight For Life, while EastEnder Thomas Law is connected to the charity through a friend. Vanessa, 46, said: “Ten years ago a friend lost her father and so I wanted to do something to raise money. The next year I lost my own father and the fundraising progressed every year. “This is now why I want to do it.” Vanessa's classes are held at Hartsbourne School and St Peter's Church hall, in Bushey Heath. For more information about the dance school, which runs classes for children and adults, telephone Vanessa on 07889 405289.
A mention of Hannah
Sheridan Smith was born in Epworth, in Lincolnshire, to parents Colin and Marilyn, a country and western duo who performed as the Daltons. It was watching and occasionally appearing on stage with them that sparked her passion for performing, and she successfully auditioned for the National Youth Music Theatre. She was cast as Tallulah in Bugsy Malone, which had a run in London when she was 16. Instead of going back home, she was signed up by an agent and moved into a flat with her fellow cast member Hannah Spearritt, who went on to be in S Club 7.Source and more: Daily Mail
