Ian H wants to unite Jo & Shilpa ----- March 27th 2007 IAN H Watkins, star of Big Brother, says he can unite Shilpa Shetty and Jo O’Meara. As the Star reports, Ian has invited Shilpa and O’Meara to come and see him perform in the musical Fame. “Shilpa is coming and I am saving a seat for Jo. I really want her to come. It’s time everyone put what happened on BB behind them and moved on. I’ve sent messages to her through friends but so far nothing. I’ve now sent word she’s invited to the opening night of Fame and it would mean a lot if she came.” We'll see if she's gonna show up or not.

Jo at Comic Relief event ----- March 17th 2007 Jo made a public appearance for the first time since the 'Big Brother' race row yesterday, attending at a gala event in aid of Comic Relief. O' Meara said: "I think it's time for me to move on, and concentrate on getting back to work, and I hope the public will feel the same way." "I've apologised, I've said sorry if I offended anybody, but nothing racist went on in the house - it was bad editing." Speaking about Comic Relief events, she said: "Comic Relief has always been important to me, it's something I've always done, as a band with S Club (7), and while solo. It's a nice thing to get involved with."

Jo wants to sing again ----- March 16th 2007 In her GMTV interview, Jo said she'd like to get back to singing again. “I’m only good at one thing, and there’s only one thing I enjoy, and that’s singing. “If I’m allowed to, and the public will allow me to get back up stage then I’d love to do it – but one day at a time.” About her emotional interview on the show last month she said,” It’s been a really, really tough time. I can assure people they weren’t crocodile tears.” Jo said she had not spoken to any of her fellow housemates – including Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd or Shilpa Shetty – since the show. She explained, “Everyone’s had so much going on, I haven’t been able to talk to anyone really, even friends. I just shut myself away for a little while to get myself better.”

Jo to write a book? ----- March 13th 2007 According to several sources, Jo is planning to write a book. A friend of her says: "Jo wants to move on with her life and she feels the only way she can put this nightmare behind her is by telling all." And as soon as she can secure a book deal - a figure of £250,000 is mooted - we can read all about it. Jo has yet to find a publisher. She has a literary agent and very possibly she has a crayon and a sheet of paper. But she has no publishing deal.

No action after BB race thing ----- March 10th 2007 Police investigating allegations of racism on Celebrity Big Brother today announced that they would be taking no further action over the case. Hertfordshire Police said Channel 4 and Endemol had "declined to co-operate" with requests for unedited footage from the show. Police said there was no public interest in making arrests or pursuing the footage through the courts. Police announced that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided that what occurred was "clearly offensive" but "not criminal".
